Bananas and oats are great ingredients for your skin, and after you have had an extremely long week, your skin is fatigued and could definitely use a boost. Also, if you're anything like me, the last thing you want is to have to go through a long routine or the salon to fix your tired skin. This is where the DIY homemade recipe comes into play. This is a really simple, easy, and all natural banana and oatmeal scrub. You will need four easy to find kitchen items for this scrub and then you are ready to start mixing!
Using bananas on skin for anti inflammatory, and moisturizing purposes is an ancient practice. The antioxidants and potassium found in the pulp of the banana are also good for treating skin ailments such as warts and acne.
Ingedients:
1 ripe banana
3 tsp rolled oats
2 tsp honey
2 tsp milk
Directions:
Mash the ripe banana with a fork or spoon until it becomes a smooth paste in a bowl. Add rolled oats, milk and honey, and continue to mix until creamy.
Massage the paste onto your face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
If you don't have all the ingredients listed, you can just use banana pulp and massage it all over your face.
This can help add glow to your complexion. Happy mixing!
Enjoy!
